NatWest Bank of API

NatWest tasked CreateFuture with a 9-week discovery project to explore the viability of a new plugin that would streamline the integration of banking data with ERP systems. Through workshops, user research, and prototyping, the team identified key customer needs and preferences, ultimately recommending that NatWest develop a user-friendly, trustworthy solution that complements their existing Bank of APIs offering.

Part 2: The Creation of Formation Reference Site

At FanDuel, I led the design of the *Formation* reference site—a central hub for documentation to support adoption of the Formation design system. I collaborated with engineers, wrote key content, and conducted user testing to shape an MVP that prioritised essential features like component guidelines, design tokens, and onboarding resources. The site improved cross-team consistency and demonstrated my ability to deliver scalable, user-centred design solutions.

Part 1: Creating Formation, The FanDuel Design System

In this case study, I detail my role in the development and successful rollout of Formation, FanDuel’s unified design system. By consolidating disparate design processes across multiple product teams, I helped streamline development, enhance user experience, and achieve significant efficiency gains, including reducing design implementation time by 80%. My contributions spanned component design, stakeholder workshops, QA, and documentation, all within the framework of atomic design principles. The result was a cohesive, scalable system that empowered teams to innovate while maintaining consistency across FanDuel’s product ecosystem.

EE An Evaluation of NEST

NEST, a legacy customer support tool used by EE, was evaluated to understand how different support levels interacted with it and where their workflows broke down. Remote user interviews and usability testing revealed key issues with navigation, process inefficiencies, and reliance on manual data collection. Based on these insights, design improvements were proposed including a consolidated Location Profile, integrated glossary support, and remote speed test scheduling.

Atolls An Evaluation of Best Buys

To better understand user needs and improve the Best Buys product, I led an in-depth user research study targeting both early- and late-stage buyers. Through interviews, browsing tasks, and memory tests, we identified critical pain points: users struggled to compare products, recall information, and found content too shallow or “salesy.” Insights revealed the need for richer, more structured content and improved layout. This foundational research informed future design work and helped shape the product roadmap.

Atolls Best Buys Comparison Table

After identifying a major user pain point in product comparison during research, I led the design of an interactive comparison table to streamline decision-making within Best Buys articles. I drew on competitor analysis, user insights, and design best practices to prototype a solution, refining it through two stakeholder workshops and implementing feedback on usability and layout. Once approved, I documented and handed over the design through our Figma system, ensuring responsive variants and dev-ready specs.
